Santa Barbara, CA – (StockNewsDesk) – 12/16/2014 — The MeArm is a simple and easy to control industrial robotic arm that can be easily carried in a pocket. It was initially derived to develop robotics by lowering the cost of a robot arm. The primary and ultimate aim was to compose some robotic mechanisms for performing lightweight tasks for a low cost. It can be a great tool, like a screwdriver and performing some similar tasks.

The MeArm is a miniature of a huge robot arm used in industrial jobs. It is not only a small tool but also attractive and effective. This small tool is not meant to be a small toy for your child; it will perform some necessary tasks in your daily life. As it is small machinery, it tends to perform some finer tasks easily and perfectly. The best part about the MeArm project may dazzle you. It is an open source, which means all the files and codes related to this project are available for free in the internet. Anyone can download those files to make it functional. Hence the learning for this tool has become easy and effective.

Initially, you can start with the manual mode for MeArm to make it functional to suit your needs. Soon you can learn how to automate the program for better results. You can use MeArm for the task it is recommended for but you can improve the functional criteria all by yourself by programming it in your own way. This project has already travelled all the corners of the globe and received a great response when it was used in many workshops and crowd funding campaigns. This Kickstarter project has triggered huge interest in the robotic world already and it is expected some upgraded versions are on its way, making this concept even stronger.

As it has been taught to perform some great tasks, the world of electronics has found a great interest on it. The MeBrain performs the creative tasks for MeArm. It has double joysticks to control the MeArm. All you need to do is  plug the MeBrain into MeArm and you will be able to manage it in your way. You can even record the movements for future usage. This device is Arduino compatible which is a functional chip. You do not have to know anything about that but you can still use the best of it.

There are  many code examples and at least 30 tutorials available that will provide assistance in learning the operational and technical areas of the device. The MeBrain has made the MeArm the most accessible and effective robotics device in the world. Sooner or later, it will find its importance in the educational realm and will serve an important purpose in science projects and engineer’s training sessions. It has already been found to be a useful tool in human life.
