Atlanta, Jan 23, 2019 (Issuewire.com) – Seven Seconds (Netflix/Fox21) breakout star Corey Champagne has been selected to serve as Ambassador for the International Houston Black Film Festival (iHBFF) 2019. Champagne who is repped by Abrams Artist Agency (LA/NY) is known for his breakout role as the endearing 3-dimensional character Kadeuce Porter in the Emmy and Golden Globe, nominated Netflix Limited Series Seven Seconds with Regina King who won the Emmy as Lead Actress. Champagne was nominated for a Black Reel Awards for his outstanding performance.

I chose to partner with the International Houston Black Film Festival because of their dedication to unapologetically providing a platform for black stories and voices to be viewed in all of their complexity. As a black storyteller and voice, it is my honor to represent for those who came before me and paved the way for those of us who are following in their footsteps, said Corey Champagne.
