Ribbon cutting ceremony officially launches new innovative room at memory care community.

Franklin, Feb 12, 2019 (Issuewire.com) – The Hearth at Franklin will be hosting a ceremony to launch their new sensory room on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1035 Fulton Greer Ln, Franklin, TN. This innovative and market leading room will help calm down residents by giving them space to safely explore all five senses.

At 11:30 a.m. opening remarks will begin followed by the ribbon cutting. After the ceremony Hearth will be holding an open house where all are welcomed to tour the sensory room and the rest of the community. The Hearth at Franklins Executive Director, Danny Phillips says The Blue Lagoon is the most unique sensory room I have ever seen in my career. The Blue Lagoon is beautiful but even more importantly therapeutic for our residents struggling with dementia. I am thrilled to be part of this innovative approach to help our residents diagnosed with dementia.
