Furthering her education she graduated with her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 2000, giving her nearly two decades of experience in her field. After obtaining her medical degree she then completed her psychiatry residency at Harvards Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program, where she served as chief resident in her final year. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business where she majored in Finance and Healthcare Management.
