Dr Azadfard received his medical degree from the Iran University of Medical Sciences. Thereafter, he went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine at the Wyoming Valley Health Care System, followed by his fellowship at the University of Buffalo.

Dr Azadfard is board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM).
