She feels very fortunate to be part of a wonderful multidisciplinary team at her practice.

Dermatopathology, is a joint subspecialty of dermatology and pathology that focuses on the study of cutaneous diseases at a microscopic and molecular level. A dermatopathologist, like Dr. De Stefano, is a highly trained physician who specializes in diagnosing disorders of the skin, hair, and nails under a microscope. When a skin biopsy is needed, doctors specialized in dermatopathology work closely with dermatology providers to narrow down the potential causes of skin disorders, such as a rash, alopecia, or to determine the malignant potential of a tumor. With that information, dermatology providers are able to determine the best treatment approach for their patient.

Dr. De Stefano was born and raised in Brazil. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 dogs. She also enjoys drawing.
