ReferralCandy introduces integration with Mailchimp to help small merchants send better emails

Merchants can use the new feature to generate bigger revenue impact from email marketing. “In user research interviews, merchants consistently ranked email marketing in their top three priorities,” said Zach Cheng, Co-Founder of ReferralCandy. “Merchants put extra effort into email marketing, as every email sent is revenue. We developed this feature to help merchants get more out of every email.”

ReferralCandy for Mailchimp allows merchants to easily personalise emails with each customer’s unique referral link, be it marketing newsletters, sales offers or abandoned cart reminders. “We offered early access to some merchants last week, and we have already seen over a thousand new store visits through the feature.”

“Email is the biggest touchpoint for customer referral programs, at 49% of all interactions,” said Cheng, based on internal data. “47% of all referral sharing actions come from the email channel.”
