The Ms. America Pageant has been developed to promote and honor women, celebrate their accomplishments and use their “Crown for a Purpose” to support and encourage involvement in volunteer service. Pageant competition is based on Evening Gown, Interview, On-Stage Question, and Sportswear.

Terri’s platform is working with the homeless and mental health populations. She plans to use her medical background to bring awareness about the resources available to assist those less fortunate with regaining their lives.

“After competing in my first pageant, I realized it gave me a much-needed structure to become the best version of myself. I believe pageantry can help young women today become more poised and well-spoken as they find their voice in the world.

All the women that I have met so far have been amazing, from my Director Susan Jeske, who was the former Ms. America to my fellow contestants.

I am a successful Nurse and advocate for the homeless. With a Sash and Crown, it’s not just about Beauty, it’s about the potential, endless possibilities, shining light on your platform and making a difference”.
