Toronto, Jul 9, 2019 (Issuewire.com) – BrazilFest: The biggest event that celebrates Brazilian culture in Ontario completes 16 years to mark the summer in Toronto, the 16th edition of the BrazilFest Festival, the largest event focused on strengthening Brazil’s culture in Canada’s largest and most populous city, will take place on July 21. Despite being an occasion that attracts many Brazilians, the party also welcomes people from diverse cultures, such as Portuguese, Filipinos, Mexicans, and Asians and, of course, Canadians who are attracted to Brazilian dance, music, food and drink. “This is an opportunity to show and strengthen the image of our country, which is so great and culturally rich,” analyzes Arilda Oliveira, the founder of BrazilFest.

In this edition, BrazilFest will once again present about 12 hours of concerts and various
presentations at Earlscourt Park (1595 St. Clair Ave West). And among the attractions already confirmed are DJ Simba, Bravo Kids, Arua Brazilian Dance, Angela Turone, Elaine Gonçalves & Band, Capoeira Males, Aline Maly, Stefanie, Trinity House, Luanna Brito, Eduarda / Bravo Dance, Tozuka, Dance Migration Company, Samba Squad;

* Bands to appear on the stage of the BrazilFest, as well as their order, can be changed at any time, according to the need of the organizers. There will also be the expected Beer Garden, selling ‘Caipirinha’ from noon and continuing until 10 pm.

During the last 15 years, BrazilFest has received about 30 thousand people per edition, who had the opportunity to know part of the Brazilian culture through the hundreds of musicians and artists who have performed on the stage of the attraction. The gastronomic space is another that stands out over the years, offering delicious options that, with certainty, represented special nooks of each region of Brazil.
