Shawnee Knight from New Canaan Wants to Inspire Others to Nurture the Community’s Needy Children

New Canaan, Jul 17, 2019 ( – A passionate chef, a dedicated community activist, an active board, member, wife, and a mother, Shawnee Knight from New Canaan is good at everything she does and has set an example for many. Shawnee has a strong sense of social responsibility to nurture the community’s needy children and inspire others to do the same.

Shawnee Knight classically trained at the French Culinary Institute of NYC and co-founding Filling in the Blanks in New Canaan allowed her to marry her love of food, community, and charity. Shawnee is also a member of the Stamford Food Collaborative and the Stamford Public School’s Strategic Planning Advisory Committee. Shawnee’s elder son Andrew Knight graduated New Canaan High School two years back. Andrew also contributes to Filling in the Blanks.
