His residency and surgical training occurred in Philadelphia and New York City and centered around Peninsula Hospital Center in Queens, New York. His training took place at some of the most prestigious hospitals and institutions, including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Westchester Medical Center, Einstein Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and LIJ Consortium. After his residency, Dr. Khorsandi went on to complete his fellowship training in hand and microvascular surgery with the world-famous Charles P.
