IAGIFTED and Spirit of Math Partner to Bring International Spirit of Math Contest to Nigeria

Toronto, Ontario Jun 2, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - IAGIFTED and Spirit of Math are thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration that will bring the International Spirit of Math Contest to Nigeria for the 2025-26 school year.

The partnership is a continuation of Spirit of Maths unwavering commitment to promote co-operation, inspire confidence and release the genius in every child all around the world. This collaboration will give Nigerian students the opportunity to showcase their abilities on an international stage, while growing their confidence and skills which they will need for future success.

IAGIFTED are committed to the identification, classification, stratification and fortification of the gifted children in Africa and the diaspora. With an emphasis on creating opportunities for pupils to identify their gifts and talents and for abilities to flourish. 

They support and develop policies and practices that encourage and respond to the diverse expressions of gifts and talents in children and youth. The partnership is one of many collaborations Spirit of Math is undertaking with international organizations to bring the International Spirit of Math Contest to every corner of the world. Competitive events such as these offer children an excellent opportunity to develop important skills such as analysis, problem solving and critical thinking. They also get the personal satisfaction (and motivational boost) of tackling and conquering some of the hardest questions.
